Clear your calendar - It's going down! You're invited to take part in an intimate networking & community building event, hosted by Art Girl Army. Come one, come all to break bread, drink and spend some time with your favorite AGA music making ladies in NYC. This time we're featuring an informal panel with Executive Assistant to Salaam Remi (EVP of A&R and Production) at SONY Music, Alexis Brown, Atlantic Records Engineer and Producer, Ebonie Smith, 300 Entertainment A&R Rep, Allyson Coff and Director of Operations for Big Foote Music + Sound, Michelle Conroy. This is going to be epic!
Originally from the Bay Area, Alexis has always had a passion for music. But it wasn’t until college that she began to explore the business side of the industry. Her internships at RCA Records and VH1 solidified her love for artist management and talent development. After graduating from Syracuse University in 2015 Alexis began her career at Sony Music Entertainment working for Salaam Remi, Executive Vice President of A&R and Production who is also a Grammy award winning songwriter and producer. Her experiences have her taught her to push the envelope and think outside the box.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Michelle Conroy has worked in fashion, film, health care, the art world, publishing, and most recently the music industry. As the Director of Operations for Big Foote Music + Sound she plays an active role in executive production and client relations in addition to overseeing IT management, recruitment, and growth development. In her spare time she is working on a music startup with several partners and is a part of the fundraising team for Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue. She has a BA in the History of Art from Yale University.
